The Flywheel Effect
What makes a good automotive photo?
High-quality car photos aren’t just about pointing a camera at a vehicle.
They’re about presenting every car in the best light, building buyer trust, and making listings impossible to scroll past.
Lighting that works.
Good photos use soft, even lighting to show off body lines without harsh glare or deep shadows.
Controlled light makes paint pop and interiors clear.
Clear composition.
No clutter, no distractions, no crooked horizons.
A clean background and properly framed vehicle make the car the star of the photo set.
Detail coverage.
From VIN plates and odometers to emblems and stitching, detail shots show buyers exactly what they’re getting.
The more transparent the listing, the more confident the buyer.
Consistent angles.
Every car should be shot the same way — front ¾, rear ¾, sides, interior, details.
Consistency builds credibility, keeps listings professional, and helps buyers compare vehicles easily.
Glare and reflection control.
Polarizing filters and proper positioning cut windshield glare and body reflections, making photos crisp, clear, and honest.
Ready-to-Use Delivery.
Each car is captured with a clean and consistent approach from the start, so they’re delivered same-day.
Either shared or uploaded directly to your listings with no extra steps.

A few things to keep in mind when reviewing the above photos:
Neither photo set has been modified in anyway. Our photos were the exact ones delivered to our client. The dealer comparison photos were downloaded directly from their site.
This is not a full Flywheel Auto Works photo set. There are only 20 photos, and not the 35 minimum, due to the comparing dealer only using those 20.
There is no perfect photo. While we strive to get as close to perfection as possible, we need to keep that within the restraint that is time.
